Intern Web Developer (Frontend Focused) — 3 Positions

Job Overview

MarkupMarvel is opening 3 Frontend Developer Intern positions for people who’ve completed web development courses but haven’t yet had the chance to work on real, live client projects. This is a 6-month unpaid internship built around genuine hands-on experience — you’ll work on actual project components under senior developer supervision, not sandbox exercises. If you know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript well but want real portfolio-worthy work, this is designed for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and style frontend components for real client projects under senior supervision
  • Work with React and modern CSS to implement Figma designs accurately
  • Practice adding animation and interaction using tools like Framer Motion, GSAP, or Three.js
  • Fix bugs and refine UI details on live project branches
  • Learn Git workflow, code review process, and team collaboration in a real dev environment
  • Build a genuine portfolio of shipped work by the end of the internship

Requirement

  • Completed a web development course, bootcamp, or self-taught HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals
  • Basic understanding of React
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback on real project code
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to commit to a consistent schedule
  • Genuine interest in frontend development as a career path

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to animation libraries — Framer Motion, anime.js, Three.js, or GSAP
  • A personal project or coursework portfolio to show, even if unpolished
  • Basic Git/GitHub familiarity

What We Offer

  • 6 months of hands-on experience on real, live client projects — not simulated tasks
  • Direct mentorship from senior developers
  • Real, shippable portfolio pieces you can show future employers
  • Opportunity for paid work, job placement, or recommendation to partner companies after completion
  • Certificate of completion and LinkedIn recommendation
  • Possibility to continue with MarkupMarvel on a project or partnership basis after the internship
